VOLUNTEER STORY #2
It is another week and I am bursting with excitement. I can’t wait to share all the volunteer stories that are dropping daily. Remember, you can also share yours by emailing me on umenwobichinazo@gmail.com.
This week, our Volunteer on the Volunteer Story Project (VSP), is an energetic female. Who is she? What has she done? Let’s find out.
Name: Odiba Uyo Susanna
Twitter: @Uyoodiba1
What do you do Susana?
I am a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Nigeria and Volunteer.
When did you start volunteering?
I volunteered for the time in 2018, for the World Bank’s CLICK-ON Kaduna project.
How many volunteering experiences have you had?
So far, I have completed volunteering for one project only. But I am currently volunteering on another project.
Why did you start volunteering?
I started volunteering because I believe the world is changing, and I need to be part of that change by giving to the society what I have.
What is your favourite thing about volunteering?
I get to meet different people, network with them and also share my ideas and experiences with them.
What would you say to prospective Volunteers?
I would say, there is a change coming and being part of that change is the greatest fulfillment in life. Thank you.
Wow! Wasn’t that deep? Thank you Susanna for sharing your story and those deep thoughts. I am fired up for more volunteering.
It’s a wrap. See you all next week when I will bring you someone you want to hear from. He is male and a Politician. Oops! I said too much already.
Ciao.
