GRATITUDE
An attitude A habit for some folks A learning process for others A good character for all
A melody sang in different tones Poetry written by different poets A script played out in dramas An entertainment with a foe
A place where we go To pay back For that which we have received A happy state Where all and sundry can visit With the move of a lip
A universal language One even angels understand An anthem sang by all citizens of the World For the living and the dead
A song on the lip of the wise The dryness on the lip of the bitter The smile on the face of the grateful The look in the eyes of the loved
The bank where we deposit Into accounts that at not our Deposits converting into credits And alarming alerts
Words tell her tale But a look A touch A smile A move Tells it even more
Breaking barriers With its strong fist reaching across borders With its cold-warm hands Caressing and massaging its softness Into hearts Even stony ones
Happy or not Good or bad It works its magic Breaking hardened faces into a smile Freezing burning gazes Melting rock-hard resolves
For the seen And the unseen For the known And the unknown To the giver To the receiver To the mighty To the lowly Gratitude sells
Everyone deserves you Everyone should make you happen Everyone loves you Everyone is GRATITUDE
